Mission
LABPEI develops sustainable solutions for the treatment and valorization of brines and saline effluents, utilizing Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technologies that integrate membrane distillation and solar crystallization with graphene oxide (GO). Its objective is to recover useful water and salts while optimizing energy usage and generating applied knowledge that will drive the transition toward circular desalination in Chile and Latin America.
