CiSES (Circular and Sustainable Engineering Systems Group) is a research group focused on sustainability and circular economy. Founded at the Faculty of Engineering Sciences of the Universidad Católica del Maule (Chile), CiSES aims to become a leading group in sustainability and circular economy in Chile and Latin America due to the excellence of its research, innovation, and knowledge transfer.

To generate and promote scientific knowledge in the field of sustainability and circular economy applied to engineering systems, developing innovative solutions that contribute to resource efficiency, reduction of environmental impacts, and the creation of sustainable systems. We focus on interdisciplinary research, the training of committed professionals, and knowledge transfer to society, companies, and public and private organizations, aiming to drive real change toward a more circular and environmentally responsible future.
